Jearl is a Volunteer Marshall for the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club. He will marshall Hole #18 Monday thru Wednesday.

Youth At Heart's 45th Birthday party at Walt Whitman Elementary. Food, fun and games were shared during their lunch period. Walt Whitman is Youth At Heart's longest running school-based program, launched in 2015, offering consistent after school services, featuring social, emotional and learning techniques.

Jearl recently participated in the Happy Hands Golf Classic Pro-Am at Indian Springs Country Club along with Jacob Solomon (APR Pro), Mike Posten and Harold Alspaugh. They had a great day together with lots of laughs and some golf too! Thanks to Dave Hall with Imperial Properties for sponsoring their team!

Jearl was a Volunteer Marshall for the 2021 Senior PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club. He Marshalled Hole #18 on Wednesday and Saturday for a total of 12 hours.
2018 YOUTH AT HEART LEGACY AWARD WINNER
JEARL MEEKS is a certified public accountant, a Certified Financial Planner, and a Chartered Retirement Planning Specialist. He currently owns Wealth Management Strategies, LLC, in Tulsa and serves as the board treasurer for Youth At Heart. Jearl started volunteering with Youth At Heart as a children’s tutor before stepping up to act as board treasurer. As a long-time board member, he provides oversight to the organization’s finances and tax liability and creates community connections leading to more funding and community support.

Dave Hall, a client from Imperial Properties, Inc. (commercial property realtor), was a hole sponsor at the Happy Hands golf tournament fundraiser. He invited Keith Marquardt, Rich Bevins, Jearl Meeks, and Jerry Tinsley to represent his company at the Golf Club of Oklahoma on September 22, 2014.

Stan Evetts, Jearl Meeks, and Tim Paul attended the Tulsa Drillers baseball game on August 2, 2014.

On June 13, 2014, at the 96th Annual Members Meeting of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs, Jearl received a certificate in recognition of 30 years of continued support and membership.

Tulsa-area OSCPA members helped give free tax advice to callers during the KJRH-TV 2 News Problem Solvers phone bank. They responded to 166 viewer calls on a variety of topics. One of the OSCPA members who participated was Jearl Meeks, CPA, CFP®, owner and president of Wealth Management Strategies in Tulsa.

The Tulsa Elks Lodge is partnering with Youth at Heart (YAH) to help sponsor a teen leadership program for youth in government subsidized housing. The program aims to help the young people make positive life choices pertaining to school, careers, friends, addictions, dating, and sex. It will also provide the youth opportunities to exercise servant leadership in the community and among their peers. Twenty Elk members will assist in the program as mentors and speakers and help with program logistics.

Jearl received a certificate of appreciation from the Selective Service System in grateful recognition of five years of loyal and faithful service as a board member.

The Drug Awareness Committee, chaired by Joyce Hart, capped off a busy year with a volunteer recognition reception and dance on March 16 at the Elks Lodge. The committee was involved with the National Motorcycle Rally, hosted the October Youth Day, supported various community events, and sponsored a benefit dance. Our sincere thanks to Joyce and her committee members for their outstanding work to raise community awareness of the problems associated with drug abuse.
One hundred and forty-two people attended the reception to recognize the essay and poster contest winners and present financial gifts to Ava Brown, Kipp Tulsa College Preparatory School; Sara Bovaird, Tulsa Drug Courts; and Rodney Gray, Youth at Heart. On April 11, 2013, Youth At Heart (YAH) celebrated volunteers and community partners at its annual appreciation dinner. YAH children sang songs, performed skits, and thanked all those attending for sacrificing their time, talents, and treasures to enhance the YAH programs.
YAH also honored several distinguished partners and volunteers with Heart Awards. Jearl presented the Outstanding Community Partner Award to the Tulsa Elks Lodge and the King of Hearts award to Jerry Compton for his 20-plus years of service tutoring YAH kids.

Youth at Heart recently honored several board members and employees who have served the organization for 10 or more years. The honorees received a special plaque acknowledging their distinguished service at the annual meeting on December 11, 2012. Thanks to all for your dedicated service to the youth and families in the apartment communities we serve. Youth at Heart kids gave a heartwarming thank-you to Inter-Chem for sponsoring the 2012 YAH Golf Tournament held at the Golf Club of Oklahoma in June 2012. Jearl represented the Board of YAH to support the kids and staff as they handed out "King/Queen for a Day" crowns to all the Inter-Chem employees and honored guests. The kids sang, entertained, and gave hugs to all the employees. Inter-Chem has been a longtime sponsor of Youth at Heart.

Jearl is the event chairman for the Tulsa Elks Lodge Annual Wine Festival, sponsored by the past Exalted Rulers of the Tulsa Elks Lodge #946. Jearl was Exalted Ruler (president) in 1997 and 1998 for the Tulsa Lodge. Pictured with Jearl is M.J. Hawe of Summerside Winery and Bill Emmons, PER.

Jearl is involved in a variety of community nonprofit organizations, including Youth at Heart, Financial Planning Association, Southside Sertoma Club of Tulsa, Tulsa Elks Lodge #946, and Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is treasurer and vice president of finance and development for Youth at Heart, a United Way agency. He is also active in professional and civic organizations, including treasurer of Southside Sertoma Club of Tulsa, a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tulsa Chapter of OSCPA. He is also a past Exalted Ruler of the Tulsa Elks Lodge #946.
